When you were a kid, did you sit with all the holiday catalog’s that were delivered to your house and circle everything that you were wishing for your parents to get you for Christmas? We did! As a bit of a throwback to that sweet time in our lives and as our very first Christmas post, we decided to share with you all of the things that we are lusting after this year! This isn’t exactly the same as a gifting guide, but we do hope that it provides you with some inspiration while you are shopping–for others AND for yourself!
Desiree’s Lust List:
At the very top of my list this year is the gorgeous 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Tote in Jade. Love so hard!
My love for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg runs deep. If someone doesn’t buy this for me this year, I’m getting it myself!
I have a thing for bags. I have coveted this Chloe Marcie Bag in grey, size small for so long, it is silly! Definitely not the type of thing that I would ever spring for myself, which is why it lands on my Lust List!!
I LOVE boots, but finding an appropriate fitting over the knee boot for a former ballet dancer with not-so-skinny legs is a chore! These definitely fit the bill! Frye Kelly Over the Knee Motorcycle Boots in Black.
I love my coffee in the mornings and am always on the look out for an inexpensive way to brew espresso. This little Aeropress Coffee and Espresso maker gets rave reviews!
I’m a big fan of Yotam Ottolenghi and can’t wait to dig into Nopi, his beautiful new cookbook!
I have recently discovered Nails, Inc. Gel Effect nail polish and I LOVE it! It is so thick and the colors are so vivid and shiny. I definitely want to add the Hyde Park Court Khaki and Kensington High Street Wine colors to my collection.
My feet are always cold, even in the summer, so I definitely need these Ugg Ansley slippers!
These Rag & Bone Newbury bootie in Black Wax really are the perfect everyday shoe for the colder months!
I need a new light fixture for my dining room after we renovate and while I have been coveting the original from Lindsey Adelman, it is cost prohibitive at this time. This version is a nice compromise!
Raven’s Lust List:
These coasters made the top of my list for two reasons! One, I was raised to ALWAYS use a coaster. Second reason, hello?! How chic are these!! They would go perfectly with my living room decor.
Black & Gold Coasters from West Elm $25.00
I am one of those hard to buy for people, so I love searching for unique items that may not be practical but are thoughtful. Since everyone knows I am a tequila girl, these topped my list. Do I need these shot glasses? No, I have plenty in my freezer right now. But, do I want them? YES, I will take one shot please, bartender!
Himalayan Salt Tequila Glasses from Uncommon Goods – Set of 4 $28.00
I prefer not to use the heater in my home, but I am cold natured. I have a fabulous cashmere blanket to cuddle up to in my living room, so this would be my choice for my bedroom. So luxe and it would lay across the foot of my bed beautifully when not in use.
Faux Fur Throw in Graphite from Restoration Hardware– $79.00
I obsess over Josie Maran products. While I have a plethora of her products already, I have been coveting this whipped body butter for my super dry skin, especially this time of year.
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter from Sephora– $35
As a blogger and designer, it seems I am always taking pictures. I have a great DLSR camera to capture my images for my Etsy site and the blog that I received for my birthday last year. However, sometimes I want to capture something in the moment or while I am traveling with my iPhone. This would be a great little addition to my tech gear, the clip makes it super convenient (I also chose this one because I love the gold touches to match my gold iPhone!).
Mobile Lens Kit from Urban Outfitters– $34
I don’t need heavy winter gloves living in sunny Los Angeles and I need fingerless for my constant iPhone use, so these fit the bill perfectly! They would also blend beautifully into my rocker chic wardrobe.
Short Leather Gloves from Zara– $35.90
I just can’t seem to get on board with using my iPhone or mac for my calendar. I still prefer to hand write my to-do lists and my calendar, it helps me set it to memory better. So, this white marble day planner is perfect for keeping up with my busy 2016 schedule!
Marble Planner from Poketo– $36.00
I love anything and everything Balenciaga! I have been coveting this bag for a while now. I love the side wing style and while I know there are other versions out there of similar bags- I prefer this simple, streamline look.
Balenciaga Papier A6 Zip Around Bag- $1,465
I need light layers and this is a layer that looks classic and stylish but can easily be taken off once inside. Plus, as a fellow Etsy store owner, I love shopping and supporting other small vendors on Etsy. This shop is owned by a mom who hand knits these fabulous wraps!
Hand Knit Chunky Loop Scarf from Etsy Shop: Bysweetmom– $55.00
I love these lace up boots, I think they are so sexy! You will usually catch me in black pants and a black top, so these boots would be the statement piece of my outfit.
Jeffrey Campbell Over the Knee Lace Up Boots from Free People– $298.00
My all time favorite candle is Votivo’s Red Current. There is no other candle that, well, “holds a candle” to this one. Every time people enter my home, the first thing they ask is what that amazing scent is. I like their holiday version because the container is a little more luxe then their usual packaging, so this one lands on my lust list every year.
Votivo Red Current Holiday Candle from Nordstrom– $32.00
I rarely loose my keys, they have “a home” right by my door when I enter every evening. However, every once in a while I don’t follow my system (and usually only when I am in a huge rush to get out the door). Luckily, I never misplace my phone so now I could use my iPhone to find them when I am in a rush! I also love the simple design of the black circle for my key ring.
Chipolo Item finder from Container Store– $29.99
